This course is designed for individuals seeking training to obtain their California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit. Please note that the course completion certificate is valid for only six months. Because of this limited validity, it is recommended that you wait to schedule your training until you have received approval from the Sheriff’s Department.

The course fee includes instruction and range time. 

Students are required to provide their own:

• Firearms: Bring all firearms you wish to have listed on your permit. Please note that the firearms listed on your application do not determine what will appear on your final permit. Only the firearms you bring and successfully qualify with on the range day will be listed on your issued permit.
• Ammunition: The Sheriff’s Department requires 100 rounds of ammunition for your primary carry firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition for each additional firearm you intend to have listed on your permit.
• Eye Protection
• Ear Protection

This course meets all California DOJ CCW training requirements for proof of training completion for your permit.
